Yes, you can advertise without a Dominican tax ID

The RNC is the Dominican taxpayer registry number a company needs to operate and invoice locally. Without one, a billboard operator cannot issue you a valid fiscal receipt, and without that receipt most will not sell. The way through is not opening a local entity: it is having someone who already has one buy on your behalf.

  • No Dominican entity or bank account needed
  • One invoice, issued where you can actually pay
  • Margin disclosed in writing before you accept

Why the tax ID blocks the purchase

It is not red tape, it is the invoice

In the Dominican Republic a sale is documented with a fiscal receipt number tied to the buyer's RNC. A serious operator will not invoice outside that circuit because their own accounting cannot support it. That is why the conversation dies before price comes up: it is not that they do not want to sell to you, it is that they cannot issue the document.

Opening a local entity rarely pays off

Incorporating, obtaining a tax ID and opening a bank account takes weeks and leaves permanent filing obligations. For a three-month campaign the paperwork outlasts the campaign and the upkeep survives it. It makes sense if you will operate in the country continuously; it does not for testing a market.

The alternative: let someone already inside buy

Adquiere contracts the supplier under its own name, tax ID and payment history. The operator issues its receipt against us, which is what their accounting expects, and we invoice you in the jurisdiction and currency where you can actually pay. You do not appear in the local tax relationship; you do appear on the billboard.

How it works

Four steps, no grey areas

  1. 01

1 · You tell us what you need

Zone, dates, format and approximate budget. With that we quote the operators holding available inventory for the period.

  2. 02

2 · Written agreement before anything is bought

What is bought, at what supplier price, what our margin is, who invoices, in what currency and who is responsible for the artwork content.

  3. 03

3 · You pay upfront and we buy

We collect before we buy. We do not finance campaigns, which is why the price carries no credit-risk premium. With payment confirmed we contract the operator the same day.

  4. 04

4 · We execute and send you proof

We oversee production, installation and dates, and send you photographs of the installed face. You see what was bought, from whom and at what price: it is not a black box.

Who this is for

When this route solves it and when it does not

Good fit if

  • You are a foreign brand with no Dominican entity
  • Your campaign starts before any paperwork could finish
  • You need one invoice covering several suppliers
  • You can pay upfront against a signed agreement

Not a fit yet if

  • You already have a tax ID and an open supplier relationship
  • You need 30 or 60 day payment terms
  • You will operate in the DR continuously and at high volume

In the first two cases buying direct or incorporating suits you better, and we will say so even if it means you do not hire us.

Frequently asked

What people ask before signing

Is it legal for you to buy on my behalf?
Yes. It is a purchase on behalf of a third party: we are the operator's client and you are ours. Both relationships are documented separately and in writing. What we do not do is lend you our tax ID so you can invoice yourself, which would be something else entirely.
What currency will you invoice me in?
In the Dominican Republic we work in Dominican pesos. For a foreign brand we agree currency and exchange rate in writing before booking, so that FX movement does not show up as a surprise mid-campaign.
Who is liable if the operator fails to deliver?
We are, because the contract with the operator is ours. That is precisely what you buy beyond the space: a single counterparty to hold accountable instead of a negotiation in a country where you are not incorporated.
How long from the moment I accept?
With payment confirmed and artwork ready, contracting happens the same day. What sets the calendar afterwards is vinyl production and the operator's installation window, usually measured in days rather than weeks.

Every case has its own detail

If your tax situation or your deadlines have particularities, talking is faster than writing. If not, the form below works just as well.
