Out-of-home in the DR: common questions

How much does a billboard cost in Santo Domingo?
As a market reference, a screen or billboard in the Distrito Nacional runs between RD$60,000 and RD$300,000 per month. The range is wide because it depends on the avenue, face size, whether it's illuminated or digital, and the period you book: between a high-traffic corridor and a secondary zone the difference can be several times over. We don't publish a single rate because it would be false. Tell us your zone and dates and we'll return real supplier prices.
How far in advance should I book?
The main Greater Santo Domingo corridors get committed weeks ahead, and peak seasons — Christmas, summer, back to school — much earlier. For specific inventory, the earlier you ask, the more real options you have.
Can I buy a single billboard, or are there minimums?
It varies by operator: some sell individual faces by period, others only circuit packages. In the quote we tell you which is which so you compare like with like.
Who produces and installs the material?
Usually the billboard operator produces and installs the vinyl, and the advertiser delivers artwork to spec. When that isn't the case we flag it in the quote, because it changes the total cost.
